Legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean comes to Waterfront Hall on 13 May 2027 as part of Don McLean – The Farewell Tour, celebrating an extraordinary career that has spanned more than six decades!
McLean is one of the most influential singer-songwriters of his generation, best known for timeless classics including “American Pie,” “Vincent,” “And I Love You So,” “Castles in the Air” and “Crying.” His breakthrough came with the release of American Pie in 1971, transforming him from a respected folk performer into an international superstar. The album remained at number one in the UK for seven weeks, while “Vincent” reached number one in the UK charts.
From performing in intimate clubs and coffee houses to appearing at some of the world’s biggest venues, McLean has built a remarkable legacy. His career has included sell-out concerts worldwide, major awards and honours, and generations of artists recording his songs.
