12 February 2026 – Plate Up for Flavour
How to make healthy food taste great
Join Chef Stevie B for the opening night of the Plate Up series - the foundation for everything that follows. This is the night that sets you up to enjoy the rest of the journey, giving you the essential principles that actually make healthy food taste good…properly good!
The guest host will be well-being coach and speaker Annette Kelly, co-founder of Little Penny Thoughts, who will team up with Stevie for some brilliant cooking and conversation.
Together, they’ll break down the simple flavour rules Stevie uses every day: the Four Pillars of Flavour, the “Flavour Cupboard” essentials, and the small habits that make healthy eating far more enjoyable and sustainable.
Expect vibrant dishes, plenty of laughs, and practical tips you’ll use the next time you step into the kitchen.
If you want to cook better, eat better and feel better - this is where the journey starts.
11 April 2026 – Plate Up for Performance
High-flavour meals that fuel your day
The second night of the Plate Up series will be a practical dive into food that helps you feel and perform at your best. This show isn’t just for athletes; it’s for anyone who has a life to run. Work, training, long days, busy mornings - everyday people still need to fuel properly, and this night shows you how.
This is where the flavour principles from Show 1 meet real-world performance: simple, high-flavour meals built around the macronutrients and micronutrients that support strength, focus and recovery.
Stevie is joined by Tony O’Neill and Jen Curran, founders of the much-loved Tony & Jen’s -a café that was ahead of its time in Belfast, championing healthy, flavour-packed food long before it was fashionable. Their influence still runs deep.
Tony brings straight-talking performance nutrition; Jen brings creativity and flavour. She’ll join Stevie for a couple of healthy snack demos - flexible, fun and shaped by wherever the conversation goes. Stevie will also bring in a couple of special guests, including an athlete or coach, to add real-world insight into fuelling training, work and everyday life.
Expect proper cooking, honest conversation and guidance you can use immediately. If you want to eat in a way that supports your performance without giving up flavour, this is the show for you.
