FOLK iN FUSION launches Belfast’s week of global folk music in spectacular style.
This one-night-only concert at the Waterfront Hall brings together legends, Grammy winners, and rising stars for a night where tradition meets innovation.
Country music icon Crystal Gayle leads the bill, her timeless voice captivating audiences worldwide for decades. She is joined by Rissi Palmer, celebrated Americana artist and host of Color Me Country, who shines a spotlight on underrepresented voices in roots music. Rising Nashville singer/songwriter Dee White adds fresh energy with his soulful blend of country and Americana.
The lineup also features Ron Block, Grammy-winning banjoist from Alison Krauss & Union Station; mandolin prodigy Wyatt Ellis with acclaimed singer-songwriter Jessica Willis Fisher; and from Ireland, Wallis Bird, known for her electrifying stage presence. David Keenan delivers poetic lyricism and powerful live performance, while Clare Sands brings her fearless fiddling, bilingual songwriting, and genre-bending creativity to the stage.
Anchoring the Irish tradition are legendary piper Paddy Keenan, master fiddler Gerry O’Connor, and acclaimed uilleann piper Brendan McCreanor, co-founder of FOLK iN FUSION and Your Roots Are Showing – Ireland’s Music Conference.
