Celebrate 20 years of 'And So I Watch You From Afar' with the Ulster Orchestra at the Ulster Hall, Belfast on 19 December 2025!

This year marks 20 years of And So I Watch You From Afar - two decades of sonic exploration, relentless touring, in search of those moments that make life feel colossal. To celebrate, they’re returning to the Ulster Hall, Belfast, for a night unlike anything they’ve ever done before.

On Friday 19 December, they will take to the stage with the mighty Ulster Orchestra, to perfom music from across their career in a concert that promises to be as ferocious as it is cinematic, infused with the weight of everything they’ve built together over the last two decades.

Ulster Hall has always been a sacred space for music in Belfast. It's where ASIWYFA had their early formative moments with music as concert goers.

To stand on this stage, surrounded by friends, fans and the incredible musicians of the Ulster Orchestra, is a privilege beyond words. We’re pulling out every stop to make it one for the ages.

"From the first chord we struck in a our drummers bedroom - 20 years later, standing shoulder to shoulder with our countries orchestra, still chasing the sound of something bigger than ourselves - this has been the greatest ride. Thank you for being part of it."

Pre Show Entertainment

From 6.45pm, by Chris Jones

Chris Jones is a DJ, journalist, and former editor of Alternative Ulster magazine, and has been a fan and follower of And So I Watch You From Afar since first seeing them on a tiny stage upstairs in Auntie Annie’s back in 2006.

A resident DJ at Lavery’s, The Woodworkers and The Pavilion, Chris is gearing up to deliver a pre-show set inspired by the band, their influences, and the many artists who followed in their footsteps.

Expect scene-setters, classics, and a few secret weapons from across experimental rock, electronica, hip-hop, punk rock, and more, the perfect warm-up for an unforgettable night.
