Don't miss William Caulfield's 30th Anniversary "Our Jimmy" Tribute Show with Special Guests Orla Mullan and Keith Lynch as well as musical accompaniment from Ivan Black at Ulster Hall, Belfast on 13 February 2025!
Packed with stand-up comedy and the best loved hilarious sketches old and new from over the last 30 years.
Back in 1995 encouraged by George Jones (BBC Radio Ulster/Clubsound) William did his first ever tribute to James Young as a fifteen minute add on to his normal stand-up comedy routine. It was an instant hit.
Since then, William developed the show into a full two-hour performance utilising all the iconic Ulster ‘Our Jimmy’ character’s that we know and love today such as Derek, Mrs O’Condriac, Orange Lil, Willie Simpson, Wee Sammy, Billy Hulk and Willie McFetteridge to name but a few.
Thirty years ago, the content of the show was original James Young sketches but over the years William has written completely new material and brought all the characters and comedy bang up to date.
‘An audience with Our Jimmy’ for BBC NI and ‘It’s William Caulfield so it is’ for BBC Radio Ulster were both very successful with viewers and listeners.
In recent years William has enhanced the stage show using a supporting cast for some of the sketches.
The show has new material each year to keep it fresh and very much in touch with everyday life in Ulster.
This thirtieth anniversary show will be for one night only exclusive to the Ulster Hall.
A very special night not to be missed.
