The Northern Ireland District, Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2024 returns to the impressive Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Saturday 02 November 2024. This year’s Festival will be presented by the wonderful Mr Paul Clark from ITV.
Tributes this year will be paid to significant anniversaries and events over the past year including D Day 80, Kosovo 25, Afghanistan 10 and special mention of our late National President, Vice Admiral Sir Clive Johnstone KBE CB who suddenly passed away earlier this year.
The ever popular and highly acclaimed Band of The Royal Irish Regiment and the Bugles, Pipes and Drums of The 2nd Battalion will provide the musical accompaniment, alongside a variety of performers and dancers from the Northern Ireland area.
The Muster will be led by the Northern Ireland principal Standard Bearers including the Youth and Republic of Ireland.
All three services within Northern Ireland will be represented by servicemen and women.
There will be many Associations, Emergency Services, Uniformed Youth Organisations and Poppy Sellers taking part, as well as our widows and residents from Somme Nursing Home.
