The Northern Ireland District, Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2023 returns to the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on 04 November 2023.
The Northern Ireland District’s Festival of Remembrance will be presented by the BBC’s Helen Mark.
The Festival will pay tribute to significant anniversaries and events of the past year, including The King’s Coronation, Korea 70 and UDR Greenfinch 50.
The highly acclaimed Band of The Royal Irish Regiment and the Bugles, Pipes and Drums of The 2nd Battalion will provide the musical accompaniment and there will be a combined musical programme of performers and dancers from the Northern Ireland area.
The Muster will be led by the principle District Standard Bearers including the Youth and Republic of Ireland.
All three Services will be represented by servicemen and women from HMS Hibernia, 2nd Battalion The Royal Irish Regiment and 502 ( Ulster) Sqn RAuxAF.
There will be many Regimental Associations, Emergency Services, Uniformed Youth Organisations and Poppy Sellers taking part, as well as widows and residents from the Somme Nursing Home and UDR Greenfinches.
