Lightwriters present their inaugural exhibition in conjunction with OUTBURST 2009. It is a multi dimensional display in a crossword style projecting positive aspects of LGBT community life.

The photographs have the over-arching criteria of being high quality photographs, but many include humour in their character.

The multi-level exhibition invites you to enjoy the photographs, as well as to discover the visual clues given and think about the meaning of the evidence. Most of the photographs have a hidden depth, not immediately obvious, but apparent when considered more closely.

The Lightwriters photography group formed in late 2008 to give a platform for LGBT people interested in photography to get involved in practical projects, involving the technical aspects of photography as well as the creative. The group is a community platform for creativity and operates on a collective basis, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, creativity and fun.
