Technical information

Studio

The following equipment and support is provided as standard for all Studio bookings.

Sound

  • One sound technician to set-up and operate equipment, provide advice to clients, help with on-stage and front of house cabling, mic-ing and outboard patching, mix and sound check, play cues, provide full front of house sound operation and monitor control of up to four mixes during your event.
  • Full use of PA system which includes:
    • 2 x EV X-Line Subs
    • 6 x EV XLD Boxes
    • 1 x CP 2200 amp
    • 1 x CP1800 amp
    • 1x CP4000S amp
    • w/ EV DC-One Processor.
  • 24 Channel Soundcraft GB8 sound mixing desk.
  • BSS 31 Band Graphic EQ across FOH.
  • 1 x 8 way Klark Technik Compressors/gates
  • 1 x 2 way Beringer Compressors
  • 1 x Lexicon PCM-81 Effects Processor
  • 1 x TC Electronics M2000 Effects Processor
  • 1 x Denon CD-680
  • 1 x Tascam MD-301
  • Community Wedges w/amps
  • 6 x E3s w/ P1200A & Epac amps
  • If available, D&B macs from the Main Auditorium can be used.
  • Microphones with stands and cables.

Lighting

  • One lighting technician to set-up and operate equipment, provide advice to clients, focus lamps in specific positions to suit your event, programme lighting console, play cues and help with full front of house lighting.
  • 50 x Source 4 Par Cans
  • 10 x Robert Juliat 2kw Profiles 30/53 (Located FOH Bridge)
  • 6 x Robert Juliat 1kw Profiles 15/38
  • 14 x Robert Juiliat 2kw Fresnels
  • 8 x Par 62 Short nose floor cans. CP61
  • 1 x ETC Impression Control desk (generic lighting only)
  • 1 x Avo Pearl Tiger (automated).

Communications

  • Duty stage manager is our main safety and evacuation officer for both the audience and backstage during your event.
  • Prompt desk (located at stage right).
  • Five sets of headsets and microphones on a dual circuit intercom system.
  • Paging to backstage and FOH areas.
  • Video outlets throughout all auditoria.
  • Show relay throughout the building.
