Fork buffet menu

This menu, which is usually served standing, is for a minimum of 20 people.

Specific dietary requirements can be catered for, upon request.

Items marked (H) are healthy options suitable for a gluten-free, low-fat or dairy-free diet.

Items marked (V) are suitable for vegetarians.

Main course (hot selection)

  • rosemary braised lamb with root vegetables
  • pork and leek sausages with rich onion gravy
  • Dijon braised beef with mushroom and tarragon cream
  • pork, bean and tomato cassoulet
  • Atlantic salmon with red pepper and onion stew (H)
  • braised chicken fillet with fennel, mushroom and thyme (H)
  • fricassee of chicken with peppers and baby corn
  • beef and Guinness casserole with herb scones
  • sautéed chicken with smoked bacon and leek cream (H).

Main course (cold selection)

  • roasted turkey breast with apricot dressing
  • peppered sirloin of beef with horseradish salad
  • honey-baked ham with minted pineapple salsa (H)
  • poached chicken fillet with baby spinach and sweet soy dressing (H)
  • poached salmon and king prawn crème fraiche.

Main course (vegetarian selection)

  • ratatouille of mixed vegetables with chick peas (H)
  • broccoli, tomato and mozzarella lasagne
  • Thai-style vegetable curry
  • spinach ricotta and potato gratin
  • three bean chilli with sour cream
  • potato, cauliflower and spinach tikka (H)
  • carrot, celery and fine bean braise
  • potato and red onion frittata.

Salad selection

  • tossed salad with croutons (H)
  • Kos salad with Caesar dressing and pine nuts
  • baby leaves with shaved Parmesan and basil oil (H)
  • simply classic coleslaw
  • new potato salad with sour cream and chives (H)
  • cucumber and mint with Greek yoghurt (H)
  • roast vegetable couscous
  • chickpea, cherry tomato and parsley salad (H)
  • cracked wheat tabouleh (H).

Dessert selection

  • deep-filled apple crumble
  • chocolate fudge gateau
  • selection of handmade cheesecakes
