World leading conference centre
Belfast Waterfront was one of three runners-up in the 2012 International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) Apex Award for the World’s Best Convention Centre.
The AIPC Apex Award competition recognises excellence in congress centre management and operation, based on customer ratings. Venues are assessed on:

- customer relations
- catering
- creativity
- technology.
This international award follows the announcement of our investment programme for a planned expansion to provide an increased capacity of 4,000m2, incorporating additional fully flexible exhibition, banqueting and breakout space.
