Our aims
We want everyone to have the opportunity to get involved in the arts.
That’s why we work with local community groups to provide them with the chance to take part in the arts at different levels.
We do this by providing performance, rehearsal and workshop space or by offering special ticket deals to groups.
As well as regular events like our family fun open days and the Urban Arts Academy, we have several programmes to help you get involved.
Our education and outreach work has three aims. They are:
- equality of opportunity – making sure that our services and resources are available to everyone
- increased access and ownership - broadening our appeal to attract more people
- systems – promoting better communication systems, easy access to information and increased advocacy.
