What we offer
We provide community groups with facilities and space suitable for a wide variety of activities.
Belfast Waterfront has partnerships with a range of groups, who use our building for a variety of purposes, including:
- rehearsal space for youth drama clubs
- meeting facilities for local Latin American troupe
- performance space for theatre and dance groups
- workshop facilities for a community-based think-tank
- storytelling facilities for a multi-cultural organisation
- workshop space for women’s groups.
Community policies
We have three policies which aim to improve access to our facilities.
These are:
- Community ticketing scheme
Groups which meet specific criteria can register for regular ticket bulletins, which offer a limited number of tickets at reduced prices.
- Workshop space for the arts
Not-for-profit artistic and community groups may benefit from extra capacity within the building.
This is only available within six weeks of the booking date.
- Studio performance space
Not-for-profit artistic and community groups may be eligible for reduced hire rates in our studio.
Each scheme is subject to the proposed use and the user meeting certain criteria.
